Troubleshooting Network Problems

Forgetting a wireless network on your device is often a useful strategy when troubleshooting wireless network problems, particularly if your configuration or authentication information for the wireless network may be incorrect. See below for instructions to forget a wireless network on various operating systems and device types. To forget a wireless network in Windows 11:

1. In the taskbar, right-click the wireless icon and choose settings.
2. Select Manage Known Networks.
3. Choose Forget for the network you want to remove.

Windows 10

To forget a wireless network in Windows 10:

1. At the bottom right in the system tray, click the network icon, and choose Network & Internet settings.
