We trust that everyone joining the OneEleven community joins with the best of intentions and will act accordingly. Our aim is to provide significant flexibility to ensure your team can thrive, and set forth a code of conduct to help ensure all our members are able to develop and progress fully.
- We do not tolerate disrespectful behaviour towards staff or any members of the community. This includes demeaning, discriminatory or harassing speech or messages.
- No poaching and / or intelligence gathering. OneEleven is a safe space where founders and team members are encouraged to learn from each other and exchange information through conversations and mentorship. We do not permit the poaching of employees from other teams and / or intelligence gathering. Companies are encouraged not to leave confidential documents and information in meeting rooms or shared spaces.
- No spamming. We encourage participation in an authentic way and encourage you to contribute to the health and longevity of the community. Our community thrives when all participants add value to the group.
- No aggressive sales to our member companies. While we encourage companies to support one another, collaborate, and use each other’s products, we do not tolerate aggressive sales tactics within the community. It's okay to make people aware of your product, but do not push beyond an initial interaction if a company states their disinterest. Sales are important, but always prioritize the longer term community dynamic.
- Speak up if you observe wrongful behaviour. It’s important we all step up to create a safer space, and we encourage the community to voice any concerns to our team. All reports will be handled with discretion.
In short, OneEleven is committed to providing a friendly, safe and welcoming environment for all, regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, ability, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, technological choices, and religion (or lack thereof). OneEleven reserves the right to exclude those that do not follow the tenets of this code of conduct given warnings and prior discussion with the OneEleven staff.
